In 1984, I had enough, so I decided to "fire" my Rhumatologist and take care of things on my own. I knew that food along with positive thinking and having God on my side would be enough, so I decided that he and I would manage my health. I wasn't sure how it was going to fall into place, but I knew that if I trusted in him and let him be my manager and guide, that the knowlege would be there and he would unlock those doors for me
In 2007, after dramatically changing my diet, eliminating key things such as alcohol, the white foods such as refined flours and processed sugars, eating whole, nutrient dense foods, close to the source and from my local farmers market, over the course of a few years, my body began to heal itself, and the inflammation decreased I began to have more energy and was able to enjoy life more
2010, I became board certified as a Holistic Health Coach and decided to work with women who struggle with balance in their lives - we call it "the balancing act" attempting to juggle everything with little or no help from the people who are entrusted to support, care and love. When you work with us, we find positive ways to create that safe space and learn how to take back the confidence and juggle everything that life throws at you
We also work with the older generation, baby boomers and on up. We want to teach these age groups how to age gracefully. There is definetly an art to this and I work with men and women so they understand that these years are the best and if healhy, many, many more to come

I hold a secondary certification from The State University of New York Purchase College as a Board Certified Wellness Practitioner BCWP, and certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners AADP as a Board Certified Health Practitioner BCHP.
In 2014 I became a member of The American Association of Christian Counselors. Adding this certification will allow me to address women's issues with a biblical perspective.
